One of the oldest populations in the country, this villa dating from the Spanish colony and was founded in 1600 and named for its Muisca origin concerning the land of Zipa.
The Salt Cathedral is an enclosure built inside the salt mines of Zipaquira. Cathedral began its construction in 1990 and was inaugurated in December 1995.
It is an equestrian theme park, which offers visitors a complete experience with horses, full of fun and interaction with the field unique.
Near to Zipaquirá, it is Nemocón, which also has an impressive salt mine with over 500 years of history and 80 meters deep. It has a camera with natural brine mirrors a wishing well and a cascade of salt with more than 80 years old.
